Caryopteris is a terrific semi-woody subshrub that features showy deep blue-purple flowers in late summer and fall when there is less color in the garden and fewer sources of nectar for cruising hummingbirds and other pollinators. This cultivar is also “right-sized” for almost any landscape, growing with vigor in a rounded form up to 30-36 in. tall and wide.
