Plant Sales

The 2026 Fall Plant Sale fundraiser launches on Sunday, September 20th, at noon, and will close on Sunday, September 27th, at 6 p.m. Orders will be picked up during the first weekend in October, by appointment.

The Native Plant Salvage Foundation Sales in April and September are the major fundraisers for the organization.

We work hard throughout the year to put together a great list of plants for our sale, both PNW native plants and “water-wise” plants (cultivars or non-native plants that do well in our area and don’t require additional water or chemicals). All of this requires a fair amount of coordination and space in the nursery, but the end result is funds for scholarships, educational materials, organization support, events for members, and materials needed in the garden. By purchasing our native & water-wise plants, you are supporting local ecosystems!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Order online starting when the sale goes LIVE on Sunday, September 20, at noon, and then closes on Sunday, September 27, at 6 p.m.

  2. When you order, you’ll choose a pick-up appointment time that works for you during the weekend of Friday, October 2, through Sunday, October 4. (You can choose an alternative pickup time if you are unavailable that weekend.)

  3. Arrive at our nursery during your scheduled appointment time for a quick load-up of your plants. Our nursery is now located at Broadfields Farm, ~10 miles south of downtown Olympia. We will email directions & details between September 28 and September 30 to everyone who ordered.

Volunteers Needed!

Our twice-yearly plant sales are only possible due to our wonderful volunteers who help us get orders ready for pick-ups through a range of tasks between September 21 and October 4.

The shifts for each day vary based on the tasks needed and may include prepping & labeling plants, fulfilling orders, assisting customers, and more.

Volunteering is a great way to learn more, see the diversity of plants available, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow plant lovers!

The buttons will take you to our sign-up form, which will provide more details about the general time frames in which we seek volunteers (but you can always join us for whatever part of the shift works for you). Once we receive your availability, we'll share a draft schedule & email you all the details you need to join our volunteer corps.
