Symphoricarpos mollis (Creeping snowberry) 1 gal

$13.00
Out of Stock

Creeping snowberry brings all the benefits of Common snowberry, but with a unique habit of lateral spread and diminished height. This species stays at about 2 feet or less, and gently spreads outwards to about 5 feet. When massed together, you'll create a low, brilliant green seamless "hedge" of about 2 ft. tall. Meanwhile, you'll get the same pollinator-attracting flowers, erosion-control rhizomes, and capacity to grow in just about any conditions!

These will spread and "mass" more rapidly in sunnier locations, and they can also be interspersed to lovely effect with other shrubs, ferns, and perennials of different sizes and textures.

Since they'll tolerate any conditions, you can weave them in and out of sunny open areas, under trees, and everything in between- making them ideal for lining a pathway (where you may occasionally need to "hedge" back any growth as it creeps out).
