An unusual Gaura, ‘Rosy Jane’ bears slender stems that rise above the foliage supporting airy blooms of white flowers edged in bright picotee pink from late spring through fall. The lance-shaped, dark-green foliage forms a compact bushy cluster, ~12 in. tall x 18-24 in. wide over time, with the flowers rising 18-24 in. above the foliage.
Gauras need full to part sun and good drainage, and support a lot of pollinators and other beneficial insects during their long season of bloom. Pair with other sun-loving perennials, such as native Penstemons and Columbine, or water-wise Coreopsis (tickseed), Achillea (yarrow), Agastache, Geum, and many more.
