Spiraea splendens (densiflora) (Subalpine Spirea)

$0.00

Featuring rosy-pink flat-topped flower clusters, this PNW alpine native shrub grows between 1-3 ft. high (possibly higher over time) and 2.5-3.5 ft. wide. The densely twiggy reddish-brown stems offer lovely winter interest, while the bright-green oval leaves turn pink, yellow or orange for fall color!

The fuzzy pink flowers attract butterflies and bees.

This spirea is best in part to full sun, and even performs well at Zone 1 of a rain garden! The flowers and wintering seedheads support many beneficial insects/pollinators.
