A native perennial herb found in a wide variety of habitats on the westside of the Cascades (as well as other parts of North America). Sticky goldenrod has yellow flower clusters that rise up to 2+ ft. high above a dense clump of long, narrow leaves, on as many as 10 stems.

Prefers sun, and tolerates many soil types, in keeping with its native habitats that range from coastal dunes to alpine meadows. The flowers bloom June-September and support native bees and honeybees, other pollinators, and beneficial insects.
