This iris relative is highly adaptable and also works in Zone 1 or Zone 2 of a rain garden!

Bright yellow, star-like flowers bloom at the tips of grass-like foliage from late spring to early summer.

Grows 8-12" tall and 15" wide, in full sun to part shade and in dry to moist soils. It prefers drier soil in mid-summer. Will often naturalize in optimal conditions.
