Rosa gymnocarpa (Baldhip Rose)

$0.00

Baldhip Rose is the most delicate and least aggressive of our region's three wild roses. The hips and flowers are medicinal. Typically found as an understory shrub, the small, fragrant, lovely pink flowers are a great attraction for pollinators in the spring.

This deciduous shrub grows 4-6 ft. tall with a few occasional long branches, spreading slowly, making sparse thickets.

Best in part sun to shade and various soils, though best with good drainage.
