Ribes sanguineum (Red-flowering Currant)

$0.00

Beloved for its year-round beauty, this prized PNW native shrub features rosy-red clusters of flowers in early spring that are hummingbird magnets!

The bluish fruits are enjoyed by birds and mammals (including people!), and its pretty lobed leaves offer pinkish-orange fall color.

Typically grows to about 6-8 ft. tall in a vase-shaped form, with an ample canopy.

Best in full to part sun and tolerant of a variety of soils, even clay.

Note: We grow ours from cuttings or fruit from local genetics, taking a few years of cultivation to prepare them for you. They may start small, but will quickly develop in your perfect landscape setting!
