Polystichum munitum (Western Sword Fern)

$0.00

Our large, magnificent evergreen Western Sword Fern is a signature feature of our PNW forests. Dark green leaves are leathery, shiny, stiffly erect, and grow 1-4 ft. long and about 2-10 in. wide.

This fern typically grows 3-5 ft. tall and is best in full to partial shade. It prefers humus-rich soil but is tolerant of various conditions.

Provides cover for many songbirds and the leaf litter at its base supports insects and other organisms that provide food for wildlife throughout the year.
