Polemonium carneum (Royal Jacob's Ladder)

$0.00

A charming native perennial that features loose clusters of pinkish-salmon open-bell flowers with yellow centers that bloom from April to June. It may take a few years to see a profusion of blooms, but the foliage is equally striking: fern-like, emerald green and reaching robust sizes of about 2 ft. high and wide.

Other attributes include its capacity to grow in just about any soil, including clay. And it"s deer and rabbit resistant!

Mix it up with native ferns, shade-tolerant ornamental grasses like Chasmanthium, and some of the abundant native shade-loving perennials you can research in this sale.

Requires shade to part shade and decent drainage.
