Amelanchier utahensis (Utah Serviceberry)

$0.00

Hardy and vigorous, this regional native deciduous shrub grows from 3-15 ft. tall by 6-10 ft. wide, branching densely. This plant has a lovely color story - the foliage is gray-green and features small white flowers in early spring, followed by dark red-purple, rose-hip-shaped fruit and brilliant yellow autumn leaves.

This drought-tolerant shrub prefers full to part sun, though will tolerate partial shade. It provides enticing food for birds and other wildlife. Works well as a hedge or as an accent shrub.

Attracts bees, birds, butterflies and provides healthy browse for deer, elk and domestic livestock (add it to a hedgerow near livestock to offer extra forage once it"s established).
