Acer macrophyllum (Big-leaf Maple)

$0.00

One of the signature native trees of the lowland Salish Sea forests, Big-leaf Maples grow 40-80 ft. and are home to many animals, mosses and licorice ferns.

A fast-growing tree that's best where it has room to spread out, or where it can be maintained as it matures by occasional visits from a certified arborist.

Plant in full to part sun, with just about any soil as long as it drains a bit. In rocky soils, ensure it is top-dressed with compost and wood-chip mulch.
