Our Native Plant Salvage Foundation Sales in April/May and
September/October are the organization’s major fundraisers.
We work hard throughout the year to bring community members a great selection of plants through our sales, both PNW native plants and “water-wise” plants (cultivars or non-native plants that do well in our area and don’t require additional water or chemicals).
By purchasing native & water-wise plants through our sales, you’re helping protect and conserve water resources and habitat in our region — while beautifying your own landscape! — while also helping fund all the operational expenses of our hands-on educational programming in the Salish Sea region!
Proceeds from the plant sales cover expenses that include hosting an annual AmeriCorps member; all the costs associated with our plant salvage, nursery and other field-based learning and demonstration-projects; and scholarships and other expenses associated with providing field-based and online classes.

Here’s how our sales work:
Order online starting when the sale goes LIVE at 12:00 noon on Sunday, September 21st, until the sale closes at 8:00 pm on Sunday, September 28th. [Hint: Read the FAQs in advance to be prepared for how to shop the sale!]
Use the “filters” to help you find the best plants for your site conditions and project goals (see more in our FAQs).
When you order, you’ll select an appointment time that works for you during the weekend of October 3rd-5th (or an alternative time if you’ll be unavailable that weekend).
Keep an eye on your email inbox (including spam/promotions folders) for the detailed instructions for picking up your plants during your scheduled appointment time at our West Olympia nursery. You’ll drive through for a quick load-up of your plants!

During the first few hours of the sale, we will be fully staffed to help as quickly as we can! For faster help or for issues that are a bit too complicated for email, provide a phone number so that we can better assist you.
We know that during the first few hours of the sale, some of the most desirable plants may sell out quickly; we hope to help you as expediently as possible so that you are able to get plants on your wish list!
