Join our eco-educators in an informal botanical walk through a South Salish lowland forest and riparian ecosystem. Our eco-educators will share how to identify and learn about a variety of native trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants as we enjoy a lovely evening botanizing together.
About the site: This nature spot is within Capitol Forest; as such, you will need a Discover Pass to park. There are multiple trails on the site, and a public restroom is available.
Difficulty & Logistics: The walk is relatively easy with little to no elevation gain and may include portions on a boardwalk, depending on the plan of your group’s instructors. Some group leaders will aim to complete their walk in about one hour, while others may walk for 1.5-2 hours. You can choose the group you prefer.
