The Native Plant Salvage cordially invites you to our:
Friday, February 23rd, 2017, Doors @ 5pm
Our work at the Native Plant Salvage and WSU Extension Water Resources Program just wouldn't be possible without the support of community members like you. This is our chance to say "Thank You!" with a festive reunion for all our volunteers and supporters, old and new. Come and celebrate 23 years of water resources and habitat education and conservation in and around Thurston County!
Join us on Friday, February 23rd, 5-9pm, at the Abigail Stuart House in downtown Olympia, for great music, food, and friendship.
In addition, we'll elect a slate of talented and energetic folks to our volunteer board of directors, and recognize our wonderful volunteers and community partners. Who will receive this year's "Golden Hori Hori" or Platinum Pick-Axe Awards?!
- Live music will be provided our long-time supporters Bevy, an all-women seven-piece Brazilian-Cuban- Swing-Blues-Jazz band
- All you can eat dessert will be none other than the best flavors of ice cream and sorbets from Olympic Mountain Ice Cream
- Dinner will be served up by your grateful NPSF staff and board, bringing you fresh-made, organic enchiladas--both vegetarian and chicken options--and fresh organic greens. It's a "potluck optional" event, so feel free to bring a small offering to share--or not!
- What would you like to drink? We will provide some basics, but as part of "potluck optional," guests are also encouraged to bring beverages to share. (We'll have a banquet license, so wine, beer or cider are welcome.)
Who doesn't love a night of camaraderie, groovin' live music, and delicious foods? Space is limited at the Abigail Stuart House, so RSVP below to save your seat!
Suggested donation for the event is $10 - $50/person, but no volunteer will be turned away for inability to pay.
