Trillium parviflorum Small-flowered Trillium

Trillium parviflorum Small-flowered Trillium

from 12.00

A rare native Trillium found in specialized habitats, especially damp/moist oak and other woodlands and wet meadows. Tolerant of some light sun as long as its underlying soils are moist; spreads by underground rhizomes., thereby expanding over time for greater visual impact. Differs from more common T. ovatum with large, mottled leaves and narrow, vertically-arranged petals of the flower. Blooms late March through May. Note- as it is out of blooming season, there is little to no vegetative body remaining on these individuals. Look forward to glorious blooms next spring!
