Native Plant Walk

  • McLane Creek Nature Trail 5044 Delphi Road Southwest Olympia, WA, 98512 United States (map)

Join experts from the Native Plant Salvage Foundation for guided plant walks two times a month this spring and summer. Come learn the names and the ecological and ethnobotanical roles of our beautiful Northwest native plants!  All ages & levels of experience are welcome.

These walks are a great way to learn native plants, botanize with friends, and enjoy a beautiful afternoon outdoors! Each Plant Walk will begin at 6 p.m. sharp, at the McLane Creek Nature Trails--be sure to arrive a few minutes early so that we can get started on time!

BONUS: If you have time to come early, we will be hosting a Volunteer Work Party at McLane Creek on June 1st from 3 - 6 p.m! Come help keep the trails beautiful and accessible to everyone, and stay for the plant walk after! Snacks and tools provided.
