McLane Creek Trail Work Party

  • McLane Creek Trail (map)

Join Stream Team and WSU Native Plant Salvage Project to help maintain both access
and ecological diversity at the McLane Creek Nature Trail! During the growing season,
plants encroach on the popular walking trail and volunteers help trim back plants and
remove weeds along the trail, while being mindful of not harming native plants or
causing “trail widening.” Volunteers learn about plant species and proper maintenance
techniques. Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes or boots and dress appropriately for the
weather. We provide gloves, tools, and light refreshments. More details sent to
registrants.
