Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service at the Nursery

  • Native Plant Salvage Nursery 2214 RW Johnson Blvd SW Tumwater, WA 98512 (map)

COME FOR AS LONG OR LITTLE AS YOU’D LIKE.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is often used to promote equal rights for all Americans. On this day we struggle against racism, ageism and gender inequality by celebrating our uniqueness gifted by mother nature.

Our goal is to clear the upper nursery area for salvage plant organization.

We salvage plants in the winter season to replant in restoration efforts and promote native landscaping in the south Salish Sea area. Learn about the salvage process, the benefits of using native plants and practice plant identification.
