Native Plant Salvage Foundation Policies

Non-discrimination Policy

The Native Plant Salvage Foundation does not discriminate on the basis of race/ethnicity, color, creed, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, the presence of any sensory, mental, or physical disability, use of a trained guide dog or service animal, or veteran status in its administration of educational policies, programs, activities. Neither membership, nor participation in the activities of this Foundation, shall be denied to any person on account of such factors.

Fragrance-Free Policy

The Native Plant Salvage Foundation requests that program participants and volunteers refrain from wearing scented perfumes, colognes, powders, hair sprays, lotions, etc. Many individuals experience serious adverse effects, including chemical sensitivity, respiratory distress, nausea, and headache. Thank you for your compliance to this practice wherever we offer programs.

Smoke-Free Policy

The Native Plant Salvage Foundation requests that program participants and volunteers refrain from smoking during workshops, outside field events, at the holding bed/nursery facility, or other program events.
